Police removed climate activists from TotalEnergies headquarters in Paris on Friday, after demonstrators staged a protest as the energy and peroleum company held its general assembly.

The footage features clashes between the police and the protesters, as officers forcefully dragged activists out of the bulding.

According to local media, climate groups such as 350.org, Greenpeace, and Friends of the Earth had earlier called to disrupt TotalEnergies' assembly to protest against its fossil fuel projects. The stakesholders agenda reportedly included discussions over carbon emission cuts.

A similar action took place on Thursday, when another group of activists chained themselves together on a bridge in Paris to claim against the company's projects for oil pipelines in Uganda and Tanzania.
