Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Swedish Defence Minister Pal Jonson in Kiev on Thursday.

Footage shows Zelensky greeting the Swedish delegation before taking part in a round-table meeting with the Stockholm's Defence Minister.

Zelensky said on his Telegram account that the two parties talked about the potential of Sweden joining the aviation coalition and the start of a separate training programme for Ukrainian pilots using contemporary Western-style aircraft.

He also expressed gratitude for Sweden's decision "to join the international tank coalition in support of Ukraine" and "to donate tenLeopard 2 tanks," as well as its leadership in forming “the CV-90 Infantry Fighting Vehicle Coalition.”

According to earlier reports, Sweden will keep coordinating the EU's military help to Ukraine, which is still a top priority for the Swedish Presidency of the EU.
