    Russia: Chinese President Xi Jinping welcomed by military orchestra at Moscow airport

    A plane with President of the People's Republic of China (PRC) Xi Jinping landed at Moscow's Vnukovo-2 airport on Monday.

    Footage shows journalists awaiting the arrival of the Chinese leader as well as a guard of honour, and a military orchestra

    welcomed the Chinese president after his arrival.

    Xi Jinping was met by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitri Chernyshenko on behalf of the Russian government.

    The Chinese president arrived in Moscow on an official visit. Xi Jinping is expected to attend an informal meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Bilateral talks between the heads of state are scheduled on Tuesday.
