
Croatia: Authorities perform controlled explosion of massive WWII naval mine in Rijeka Bay
Croatian authorities successfully destroyed a massive naval mine from World War II that was found on the sea bed near the Port of Rijeka on Sunday.
Footage shows the controlled explosion of the anti-ship mine, which contained 690 kilograms (1521 lbs) of explosive material, in a safe location at Rijeka Bay.
The naval mine was discovered during construction works last June.
