
Stark warning! 'Iron Man' star Robert Downey Jr moderates cybercrime panel at SXSW in Austin
Hollywood star Robert Downey Jr. moderated a panel on the current cybercrime crisis with the participation of the artificial intelligence-powered cyber security service Aura's founder and CEO Hari Ravichandran, former FBI agent and security expert Eric O'Neill and Russian-American author Maria Konnikova on Saturday as part of South by Southwest (SXSW) Festival in Austin.
"Last year Americans lost 10.3 billion dollars ... 10 figures, that is more than the GDP of over 50 countries stolen," said the American actor.
Downey Jr became an icon of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) after playing Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, in the series of superhero movies.
The SXSW event started on March 10 and will finish on March 19.
