Party gets 'Messi'! Dancers dressed as Argentine World Cup heroes entertain children in Mar del Plata
Dancers dressed as Argentina’s World Cup heroes Lionel Messi and 'Dibu' Martinez were seen leading the celebrations on a children’s party bus in Mar del Plata on Thursday.
Footage shows the two characters, complete with giant rubber masks of the legendary striker and goalkeeper, entertaining the youngsters and grown-ups alike on the party train, dancing on the huge bus with carriage around the city centre.
"This is what I dedicate myself to. I really enjoy it because it is dancing with the youngest, with the oldest, the fun of the youngest, as always, will be that of the greatest, it is a job that fills your soul because it is entertaining to do this," said Arian Cuello, the performer dressed as Messi that day.
The heroes of the Qatar World Cup 2022 have become wildly popular across Argentina, with the party train allowing families to get a little closer to their idols. The party train runs six days a week in the afternoons.
