Young snowboarder Wang Qiuwei performed stunning aerial acrobatics on the slopes in Zhangjiakou.

Footage filmed on Friday shows Wang Qiuwei snowboarding, jumping off ramps and performing flips.

"I am a natural snowboarder and I am from the ACR Snowboard Team,” said Wang Qiuwei.

“It took 20 days for him to learn to snowboard from zero, while maybe other children just need fewer days," said the father of Qiuwei Mr Wang. "However, after that, I found he had made really rapid progress".

By his admission, Wang Qiuwei, also known as 'Little snail', aimed to become an Olympic athlete and currently was coached by Yiwei Zhang, a Chinese world championship two-time Chinese Olympic snowboarder.
