    Fans flocked to the Villa Belmero stadium in Santos on Saturday, where Pele has spent most of his career.

    Pele's funeral will take place on Monday, January 2 in the same city.

    President Jair Bolsonaro declared three days of mourning after the news of Pele's death.

    The most famous soccer player has died at the age of 82 after a long battle with colon cancer.

    The former Brazilian forward was widely considered to be one of the greatest forwards of all time. He was named "Athlete of the Century" by the International Olympic Committee in 1999. His 1,279 goals in 1,363 matches are recognized as Guinness World Records.
