
Germany: Tractors drive through Frankfurt streets as farmers protest over govt policies, energy prices
Farmers drove tractors through the city and protesters joined the rally to protest against the government policies, and energy prices as well as demanding protection for livelihoods, on Saturday in Frankfurt.
Footage features tractors on streets queuing and moving with some having banners attached reading 'Nobody should ever forget it farmers take care of the food' and 'If the farmer is ruined, the food is imported'.
Hundreds of Protesters could also be seen marching, hitting drums, chanting, and holding placards with signs of World Health Organisation (WHO), and NATO reading 'WHEN DO YOU SAY NO?', 'Without pandemic, without war, without inflation, great rest', and others.
Earlier on October 9, farmers participated in a protest with tractors over the pandemic, and the war in Ukraine, demanding the protection of livelihood.
