Venezuela: Over 2,000 salsa dancers attempt to break Guinness World Record in Caracas

More than 2,000 dancers attempted to break the Guinness World Record for the largest ‘rueda de Casino dance', or Casino dance circle, at Teo Capriles velodrome in Caracas on Sunday.

Their goal is to beat the 2019 Record, currently held by dancers from Tenerife, Spain

"We must go above 1,291," said Jose Perdomo, Artistic Director of the Guinness Record attempt in Caracas, adding that “today we have exceeded all forecasts, today we went above 2,000.” Students from more than 100 academies took part in the attempt. The results haven't been confirmed at press time.
