Thailand's APEC Senior Official Cherdchai Chaivaivid commented on the missile launch by North Korea at a press conference on the sidelines of the APEC meetings in Bangkok on Friday.

"I'm not here to clarify Thailand's position on the situation in the Korean Peninsula. That is perhaps the job of my fellow diplomat sitting beside me. But I can confirm with you that some economies stress concern on what the situation on the Korean peninsula during the cause of this morning retreat," said Cherdchai Chaivaivid.

North Korea launched an intercontinental ballistic missile this morning, in its second missile test in two days.
