A giant slide at a Chengdu office block delighted staff and visitors alike, as locals were seen posing for photos and taking a look inside the five-storey construction on Wednesday.
"It is a more distinctive one compared with many buildings," said one fan, Lin. "I may be a little afraid of heights, but I can experience them."
Footage shows the large metal tube, which weaves inside and outside the building in the Jinniu District.
"Like a young person, one goes to work every day and it is boring," continued Lin. "When one leaves work, you have such a way, which is equivalent to reducing pressure. The first way is to reduce pressure, and the second way is to regain the childlike innocence."
The block, first built in 1982, is still being renovated. Local reports suggest it will contain as many as 11 separate slides when it is complete.
