Serbia: 'Our testicles are the best!' - Unusual world cooking championship held in Lunjevica
Dozens of chefs from Serbia, Germany, Norway, and England gathered in Lunjevica village on Saturday to compete in the World's testicles cooking Championship or the so-called "Balls Cup" ('Mudijada' in Serbian).
Twenty teams reportedly participated in the competition and cooked testicles of various animals, including bull, lamb, and pig. Some testicles can be seen being stewed, others - grilled.
"Our testicles are the best! Last year, we were second and this year we will be first. And that's it, there is not much wisdom about it. The secret recipe is ready, and that's it," one of the participants said.
The first World's testicles cooking Championship was held in 2004 and since then many chefs from around the globe test their cooking skills. Testicles are known for being aphrodisiacs for men and it's often eaten in the world's cuisine.
