    London's Wembley Stadium set a new attendance record on Sunday, as England women beat Germany in the Euro 2022 final.

    87,192 people went to the ground for the match, the most for any European Championship game in either the women's or men's tournament.

    England won the game 2-1 in extra time; the first major trophy for the 'Lionesses' and also the first for any senior side since the men's victory in the 1966 World Cup.
