
Serbia: Hundreds join Immortal Regiment march in Belgrade for V-Day
Hundreds of people participated in Belgrade’s Immortal Regiment march on Monday, honouring their relatives and those that fought in World War II on the 77nd anniversary of Victory Day.
People marched from Vuk Karadzic square to the Cemetery of the Liberators of Belgrade, which contains the graves of the 961 Red Army soldiers and 2,944 Yugoslav army soldiers who died during the fighting for Belgrade liberation in October 1944.
