
Russia: V-Day parade takes place in Volgograd and Sevastopol
Military parades took place in Volgograd and Sevastopol on Monday to celebrate the 77th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Around 2,000 troops and 31 military equipment pieces were involved in the parade at the square of Fallen Soldiers in Volgograd, 84 veterans were among the spectators.
Another parade took place in Sevastopol, where 1,300 soldiers and 40 pieces of military equipment marched through the centre of the city.
Victory parades took place in 28 Russian cities.
