
Kyrgyzstan/Armenia: Thousands join Immortal Regiment march in Bishkek and Yerevan
Immortal Regiment marches were held in Bishkek and Yerevan to celebrate the 77th anniversary of Victory on the Eastern Front of World War II on Monday.
The participants of the rally with portraits of veterans marched from the Hero of the Soviet Union Dair Asanov Park to Victory Square and laid flowers at the Eternal Flame. Bishkek’s Department of the Internal Affairs reported that more than 15,000 residents of the city joined the march.
Residents of Yerevan also took part in the Immortal Regiment march. As part of the event, which took place in Victory Park, people laid flowers at the Eternal Flame and unfurled the flags of Russia and Armenia.
