
Russia: Military equipment roars through Moscow's Tverskaya Square at V-day parade rehearsal
Military equipment can be seen driving through Moscow's Tverskaya Square to participate in a dress rehearsal of the Victory Day Parade in commemoration of the 77th anniversary of the Soviet Union's victory over Nazi Germany in the Great Patriotic War, on Saturday.
According to the Russian Defence Ministry, the mechanised convoy included the 131 units of modern weaponry and equipment, as well as historical equipment, including the T-34-85 tank.
As reported, 33 parade groups with a total of 11,000 servicemen and 77 aircraft were involved in the preparation of the parade.
The Victory Parade will traditionally be held on May 9 in Moscow's Red Square as well as all around Russia.
