New Zealand: Protest against COVID vaccine mandates continues for sixth day outside parliament
Protesters opposed to COVID-19 vaccine mandates, and restrictions aimed at curbing spread of the disease, continued for a sixth day outside parliament in Wellington on Saturday.
Protesters have been hammered with bad weather from cyclone Dovi, with tents falling down, and the parliament grounds turning into a swamp.
Police maintain a strong presence, and loud music and COVID-19 vaccination ads have been pumped out by parliament to make life uncomfortable for the protesters.
