
France: French actor Gaspard Ulliel dies at 37 after skiing accident in French Alps
French Cesar-winning actor Gaspard Ulliel died after a skiing accident at La Rosiere resort in the Savoie region of the French Alps.
According to preliminary reports, Ulliel collided with another skier on a slope on Tuesday. He was transported by helicopter to the Grenoble University Hospital, where medical staff tried to revive him, but he died from his injuries on Wednesday, aged 37.
Gaspard began acting at the age of 12 and won two Cesars. He portrayed the young Hannibal Lecter in 'Hannibal Rising' in 2007 and appeared in Chanel perfume ads, as well as in film and television roles.
