Sixty-six-year-old Dong Shuntao went viral after a video showing her working as a DJ, spinning records at a bar in Changsha in the Hunan province in China started getting a lot of online traction.

To make matters more delicious, the cool Chinese grandmother holds down a regular daytime job selling stinky tofu.

Crowds danced and clapped as the jovial grandmother, who rocks the stage in a wig and dark glasses, played songs her mentor had written for her: a combination of rock and local nursery rhymes, folk songs, and flower drum opera.

The modern grandmother who has broken the stereotype of Chinese women in their 60s says she will try her best in the future to see if she can become a real full-time DJ.

"This is my dream, and I hope my dream can become true."
