Crowds gathered in Buenos Aires on Wednesday to pay tribute to football legend Diego Maradona who passed away aged 60.
Supporters were seen gathered en masse by the Obelisk monument, cheering and chanting for Maradona.
Fans also left candles and flowers in a makeshift memorial for the football icon, by La Bombonera stadium.
The Argentine government has decreed three days of national mourning after the announcement of the death of the Argentinean star.
Maradona has passed away aged 60 on Wednesday.
He was hospitalised two weeks ago, to remove a blood clot from his brain, and released eight days later following a successful operation.
