Joao Vitor is only four years old and already displays some impressive surfing skills which have made him quite popular on Brazilian social media.
Joao showed off his surfing prowess at a Guaruja beach, in Sao Paulo, on Saturday
His father, Marcos, explained that Joao started surfing when he was 2 years old already.
"All his motivation came from his sister, she was the one who greatly encouraged him to surf and since then he has been having fun. The contact with the water gives him a lot of freedom. Due to the fact that we live close to the seafront and we can bring him often to surf, he is improving fast," he said.
Joao's parents shared that they hold no particular hopes for Joao and they are simply happy to see him engaging in some bonding activities with his older sister Maria, who has also been surfing from a young age.
Joao's surfing videos have gone viral and he is well known in the surfing community, as one of his videos reached over three million views online.
