
Russia: Putin begins annual press conference in Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin began his annual news conference, attended by Russian and foreign media, at the World Trade Centre in Moscow on Thursday.
This year, a record 1,895 Russian and international journalists are accredited to cover the event, according to the Kremlin.
The 2008 press conference is still the longest ever - at four hours and 40 minutes.
