Enormous ‘dream catcher’ made to fulfil your wishes
A huge ‘dream catcher’ amulet has been built on the shores of Lake Seliger in the Tver region of Russia with the aim of protecting people from ‘evil spirits’ and of granting wishes to those with pure intent.
Hereditary Shaman Bibigul Mamaeva, who weaved the massive dream catcher, spoke about the object on Saturday.
The shaman said she believes the amulet symbolises the “unity of the World” and added “next year I want to hang flags of different countries of the world.”
"People who will come here, they can make wishes. I can’t promise that they will come true, but in general, my wishes are always fulfilled.”
Mamaeva is also planning to send the dimensions of the huge amulet to the representatives of the Guinness Book of Records. Mamaeva’s dream catcher reportedly weighs in at a mighty 10 tons and boasts a diameter of 12 metres (39 feet).
“The ’dream catcher’ is made for those people who believe, do not believe, but the most important thing is for those who have a pure heart [to use it],” Mamaeva added.
