Hundreds of Trump supporters and conservative activists gathered at Capitol Hill in Washington D.C., Thursday, to demand an end to the impeachment inquiry targeting the US President.

The 'March for Trump' rally brought demonstrators to the doors of Congress, with the objective to tell House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other US representatives to stop what they consider to be a "scam."

The formal impeachment inquiry was launched last month by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi following a political scandal involving the President's dealings with Ukraine. Thursday's rally coincided with a closed-door hearing by the House Intelligence Committee with Gordon Sondland, ambassador to the EU under the Trump administration.
