
Iran: Tehran opens Persian Gulf air defence HQ in Bushehr
Iran opened a new air defence centre in the southern province of Bushehr by the Persian Gulf on Monday, in a bid to strengthen its grip on the security of the region.
Commander of the Iranian Army Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi attended the opening ceremony.
Footage shows the control room of the Persian Gulf Air Defence Headquarters, equipped with control and surveillance technologies. The air defence forces of the Iranian army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) will reportedly be under the command of the centre.
