Iranian President Hassan Rouhani announced Iran's partial withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear deal during a televised address from Tehran on Wednesday.

"We were not the starter of violating commitments. We will not be the starter of any wars, but we have never given up against bullying and we will not," Rouhani said.

Rouhani also set a 60-day deadline for the remaining deal signatories to come up with new terms to salvage the deal.

The announcement falls on the anniversary of the US President Donald Trump's decision to withdraw from the deal.
