
Ukraine: Zelenskiy officially declared president by Election Commission
Ukraine's Central Election Commission (CEC) officially announced that presidential candidate Volodymyr Zelenskiy won the 2019 presidential elections, in Kiev on Tuesday.
The announcement was made after all the local protocols were received and analysed by the CEC.
Actor-turned-politician Zelenskiy received 73.2 percent of the vote, with former president Petro Poroshenko coming second with 24.5 percent.
