    Preparations for Russia's World War II Victory Day celebrations took place on Moscow's Red Square on Monday.

    The centre of Moscow was filled with a wide array of military vehicles which were driven around the square after an infantry marching rehearsal.

    The Victory Parade will take place on May 9 to mark the 74th anniversary of the official capitulation of Nazi Germany to the Soviet Union.
