Brussels: NATO to ‘discuss next steps' on Russia's INF noncompliance in Washington – Stoltenberg
Russia's continued defiance of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) treaty will be a key item on NATO's Foreign Ministers meeting agenda in Washington, according to its Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg speaking in a briefing in Brussels on Monday.
"Russia continues to defy our calls to return to compliance with the INF Treaty. And time is running out. So we will discuss NATO's next steps," said Stoltenberg who added the North Atlantic treaty remained concerned about Russia's "aggressive behavior."
Regarding the presidential election in Ukraine, Stoltenberg refused to provide any comments before the results of the second round, which sees the comedian-turned-candidate Volodymyr Zelenskiy face the incumbent Petro Poroshenko.
