Germany: Liverpool need to 'have the balls to play really brave' against Bayern - Klopp
Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp held a press conference in Munich on Tuesday, a day before the return leg of their Round-of-16 clash against Bayern Munich.
Klopp underlined that Bayern is a "world-class team" with "world-class players" and that the game will be a challenge. Digging from his own experience as Borussia Dortmund coach, Klopp explained what his team needs to do to win the tie: "you have to be really confident, because that’s really difficult against world-class teams. That happens from time to time, that you don’t have the balls to play really brave, really all your best football. That’s what we have to show tomorrow night."
During the same press conference, goalkeeper Alisson Becker remarked how the team is ready for every scenario ahead of the match: "We are prepared for the game and we know the penalty can happen, so we try to come back with the qualification for the next stage, but the way it goes I don’t know, so we are prepared for everything tomorrow night."
The first leg in Liverpool ended 0:0. Kick-off is at 21:00 GMT.
