German weapons manufacturer Walther presented its 9mm 'We The People' handgun at the IWA OutdoorClassic show in Nuremberg on Saturday.

The US-themed Q5 Match Steel Frame handgun is reportedly made out of 999 Gold (24-carat) with a barrel, trigger, slide release, takedown lever, magazine release and extractor.

On its left side it features an American flag, a portrait of a bald eagle — symbol of the United States of America — with 24-carat gold inlay on its mouth and eye, and a 'We The People' engraving. A bald eagle is also engraved on its right side.

"We have here a special edition, it is a unique, hand-engraved item. Its price is around 38,500 Euro (US $43,000). It is made with reference to the US Constitution, which means we have an eagle symbol here, the Bill of Rights, and a lot of gold," said Dr. Peter Dallhammer, product manager at Carl Walther GmbH.
