
Chinese startup AIWAYS release two new models at Geneva Motor Show
Shanghai-based carmaker AIWAYS made two official launches into the European market at the Geneva International Motor Show on Tuesday.
Super sports car Nathalie, the brainchild of Audi's legendary designer Roland Gumpert, is an electric bio-fuel hybrid powered by hydrogen fuel cells and methanol.
The car boats impressive specs, going from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.5 seconds and reaching a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph).
AIWAYS also debuted the U5.
The electric car has a range of 460 km (286 miles) which can be extended to 560 km (348 miles) if the customer chooses to lease additional battery packs.
The manufacturers claim the U5 is far more technologically advanced than competitors in the midsize SUV market .
