
Afghanistan: At least 22 security forces killed in Taliban attack - Helmand governor
At least 22 Afghanistan security forces were killed in an attack on a military base in Helmand province, Helmand governor Mohammad Yasin Khan said on Saturday.
The Taliban claimed responsibility for the assault on the Shorab military base in Helmand province, which left at least 16 others wounded.
General Mohammad Yasin said the dead bodies of 20 Taliban militants had also been found in the aftermath of the clashes.
