
USA: Fedor and Bader work out in LA ahead of Bellator 214 showdown
Bellator Heavyweight World Grand Prix Finalists Fedor Emelianenko and Ryan Bader worked out in Los Angeles on Wednesday ahead of their fight.
When addressing the media, the Ukrainian-born Russian, who is widely considered the greatest heavyweight mixed martial artist of all time, said that this is the most important fight of his career and that he is considering retirement after it.
The 42-year-old also recognised that his opponent is different to other fighters he has fought in the past.
Thirty-five-year-old Bader from Reno, Nevada said that being in the finals against Fedor is "a dream" and assured that fighting the Russian, who he "came up idolising and watching", is the "cherry on top".
The fight is set to take place in Inglewood, Los Angeles on Saturday.
