
Germany: Hundreds protest visit of AfD's Gauland in Hamburg
Several hundred people took to Hamburg streets on Thursday to protest against a visit of Alternative for Germany (AfD) co-leader Alexander Gauland.
Protesters gathered on Monckeberg Street and marched to Hamburg's city hall which was cordoned off by police.
Protesters carried anti-fascist banners reading 'United against racism', 'No AfD, fuck racism', 'Migrants welcome' and chanted slogans.
Police were seen pushing protesters back, no major scuffles were reported.
