Brazil: Bolsonaro celebrates 30th anniversary of Brazil's constitution

President-elect Jair Bolsonaro attended a ceremony celebrating the 30th anniversary of Brazil's constitution in the Brazilian National Congress in Brasilia on Tuesday.

In a speech addressing congress, Bolsonaro said: "We will continue, Mr. President Temer, building the Brazil that our people deserve. We have everything to be a great nation."

The far right-politician could be seen posing for photos after his speech and waving to his supporters as he left the building.

Bolsonaro was elected on Sunday after a controversial campaign, defeating leftist Workers' Party candidate Fernando Haddad with 55.1 percent of the vote, to Haddad's 44.9 percent. He will assume office on 1 January, 2019.
