State of Palestine: IDF teargas leaves dozens injured near Ramallah
At least two Palestinians were injured, and dozens reportedly suffered from suffocation, as students clashed with Israeli Defence Forces near Beit El checkpoint, north of Ramallah, Tuesday.
Thick black smoke clouded the streets as protesters set debris on fire, hurling rocks at Israeli soldiers who in turn used tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse the demonstrators.
Protesters were outraged by the planned demolition of Khan al-Ahmar village in the West Bank that hosts around 180 Palestinians. They also condemned the new Jewish nation-state law.
