      Russia: Moscow revs up for UNLIM 500+ supercar festival

      The twentieth edition of the UNLIM 500+ supercar festival kicked off in Moscow region on Saturday.

      About 100 supercars from such legendary automobile manufactures as Porsche, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi are participating in the event.

      According to the rules of the competition, a car must have a power engine of at least 500 horsepower under the bonnet to enter the race.

      Cars are set to race on a competitive distance of 1/2 mile or 804 meters, which is laid on an unused runway of an airfield.

      The festival will run until September 2.
