
UK: London Court to sentence man who allegedly plotted to kill Theresa May
The Central Criminal Court of London is announcing on Friday, the sentence of convicted militant Naaimur Zakariyah Rahman, arrested back in 2017, for plotting to attack Prime Minister Theresa May.
Rahman was found guilty last month of preparing "acts of terrorism" in the UK, after he was arrested in 2017 for allegedly plotting to bomb the parliament and attempting to kill Theresa May.
The 21-year-old from Finchley, London, who is facing life in prison, was discovered by an FBI undercover agent who was posing online as an official of the so-called Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL).
