Chile: Santiago taxi drivers protest against ride-hailing apps
Taxi drivers took to streets in Santiago on Monday to express their dissatisfaction with the ride-hailing applications and government’s bill to regulate their operation.
Protesters honked car horns to demand price control of apps such as Cabify and Uber, claiming that "99% of Uber drivers already have work."
Driver also argued that their profits are reduced at the end of the month as a result of the loss of customers and the price decrease.
