A total lunar eclipse created what is known as a 'blood moon' above the Berlin skyline on Friday night.
The moon was seen rising above central Berlin as it turned from blood red tones to bright white tones, creating a breath-taking view.
This was the longest total lunar eclipse of the 21st century, with moon spending 1 hour 43 minutes in Earth's shadow.
