
Russia: 'We can be proud of us' - Switzerland’s Dzemaili on defeating Costa Rica
Goal scorer of Switzerland's national team Blerim Dzemaili said during a press conference in Nizhny Novgorod on Wednesday that the team could be proud of themselves, after his team managed to qualify for the World Cup knockout stages following a 2-2 draw with Costa Rica.
Dzemaili and Drmic each scored a goal for Switzerland, while Costa Rican players Kendall Waston and Bryan Ruiz secured goals for their own team.
"I think it wasn't an easy game. To be honest, Costa Rica played a great game. All my compliments go to them, but also to us. I think we made it again, we made it again through this group stage," Dzemaili said.
Coach to Costa Rica's national team, Oscar Ramirez said - "Today was our last game, there was a high level of competitiveness, and, unfortunately, we do not have the possibility to go through, but every match is different."
