Former Catalan President Carles Puigdemont held a meeting with members of JxCat [Junts per Catalunya] in Berlin on Wednesday. Following the meeting, JxCat Deputy Spokesperson Eduard Pujol spoke to the press, saying: "Today we didn't take any decision. We understood the calendar that we have, that it finishes on the 22 of May, that we don't need to force the end of this calendar, and that we won the right to manage our time."Pujol also expressed doubts concerning the Spanish government's decision to withdraw Article 155 of the constitution after the Catalan government is finally formed. "I don't know whether I should trust those who said that they would respect the electoral results and finally didn't, because they are the same who say that they will withdraw the 155 as if this was an extraordinary thing. And no, what is extraordinary is the application of the 155.""Again, I insist, the legitimacy of the President is without a doubt," he affirmed.Carles Puigdemont is residing in Berlin following his release from custody in Neumuenster. He had been detained in Germany on a European arrest warrant from March 25 until April 6.
