South Korea: US and S. Korean armies perform missile drills after DPRK missile launch
The United States and South Korean armies fired precision missiles into South Korean territorial waters, near South Korea's East Coast, on Tuesday, in a so-called "deep strike", as a response to a missile launch by North Korea earlier in the day.
The joint army drills used the Hyunmoo Missile II and a Tactical Missile System.
North Korea claimed they had successfully launched an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) earlier today which could potentially reach the United States.
