Thousands of people streamed through the streets of Lima on Saturday in celebration of the annual Pride parade.

Participants dressed as unicorns and stood on floats as revellers walking in procession carried a huge rainbow banner through the capital.

It is the parade's 16th anniversary, raising voice for equal rights and an end to discrimination against Peru's LGBT community.
