Hundreds of protesters rallied at the Washington Monument in Washington DC, on Saturday, to demand an investigation into US President Donald Trump's administration's alleged ties with the Russian government.
Protesters held banners reading "President Trussia knows the truth" and "Trump's cabinet has Russian ties" while chanting "lock him up." They also called for Trump to release his returns.
U.S. Representative for Maryland's 8th congressional district Jamie Raskin stated, "Trump says climate change is a hoax perpetrated on the Americans by the Chinese," he stressed, "Now if you read the intelligence agency report prepared by 17 of our own intelligence agencies you know the truth Donald Trump is a hoax perpetrated on the Americans by the Russians."
Protests were also held in other US cities including New York, Portland and Oregon.
