
Syria: Syrian army opens up safe corridor in Ghouta
Footage emerged on Tuesday of the Syrian army opening peace corridors for militants and civilians in eastern areas of Ghouta.
The corridor is reportedly located not more than a hundred meters from the militants positions for those who decide to lay down their arms leave through an improvised gate.
Armoured vehicles, equipped with loudspeakers, broadcast across the frontline their call for militants to lay down arms.
Similarly, leaflets are being scattered across the area calling for opposition forces to lay down their arms. Militants allegedly start shooting as soon as they hear loudspeakers.
