
Israel: At least 4 wounded in attack at open air market, suspect apprehended
At least four people were wounded during an attack at an open air market in Petah Tikva, Friday, in what police were treating as a terrorist attack. A 19-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of carrying out the assault.
Emergency services have since converged on the site and confirmed that two men and two women were wounded in the incident. All but one of the victims were shot, the other stabbed.
Police state that the assailant is of Palestinian origin from the city of Shechem in Samaria. He was arrested at the scene.
